A general meeting of Owners was held on 13th Sept 2009 with an unprecedented attendance estimated at between 50 and 75 people including Yinda's staff.  Voting returns were also very high, with ballots submitted by about 80% of all owners.   Six new members were elected to the Owners' Committee, and two resolutions were passed .

The six new members elected to the Committee were:

• Yang Zongli
  
• Regula Hwang Ma
  
• Yangla Pollard
  
• Nis Lorentzen
• Zhang Lijun
• Liu Yan Zhu .

Charles Chan, Li Lin and Tang Ke Jiang have retained their seats on the committee and will remain in office until May 2010.

 

Yang Zongli was elected Chairperson of the committee and Regula Hwang Ma was elected Vice Chairperson.

Majority votes were also obtained for the two resolutions presented at the meeting.  The first resolution allows the newly elected members of the committee to retain their seats for two years until September 2011.  The second resolution allows DVOC to negotiate a two-year extension to Yinda's management contract without the need to call competitive tenders.
