It is sad to record that Dragon Villas Children's Place kindergarten closed in June 2008 after 8 years of successful operation. Housed in the Clubhouse basement, the kindergarten provided morning-only Montessori-based classes for up to 12 children aged between 2 and 5 years.
The school was established by resident parents in Dragon Villas and managed by parents on a non-profit basis for the benefit of the small children in the community.
A shortfall in pupil enrolments for the 2007/08 year and lack of parent volunteers to take over the management of the school forced its closure.
